Example: name a dwarf after yourself and use the follow command on that one all the time

@LogicalDash Name another character as your high school crush and despair whether they end up together with the character you named after yourself or most likely not.

@LogicalDash when i run into some feature of my embark site that's inconvenient from a gameplay perspective---e.g. no potable water, weird resource distribution, unfriendly neighbors---i like to try to make dealing with it into one of the central plot points for my fort! it has the bonus of keeping me from getting too frustrated
